We don’t generally talk about that other sport around here, but this time it actually has to do with football.
Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune notes that the Bucs will practice at Tropicana Field on Thursday with hopes that the Tampa Bay Rays’ amazing mojo will rub off on them.
This sounded odd, but it is apparently accurate. Coach Raheem Morris just greater hope his team doesn’t fall nine games behind prior to creating their late season rally.

Former Raiders and Bucs coach Jon Gruden had an interesting experience last Thursday, while trying to get to the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Clinic. The next step for Bucs cornerback Aqib Talib is to turn himself in to authorities following the felony warrant issued for his arrest on Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault for a deadly weapon. An arrest warrant was issued for Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib in Garland, Texas Tuesday, the result of a police investigation into a domestic incident in which gun shots were fired, according to The Tampa Tribune.
