Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt has maintained given that the end of final season he wants competitors for each position on his team.

That’s what we’re going to do and we’re excited about that.”

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb is officially questionable for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams, but it doesn’t sound like coach Ken Whisenhunt plans to make his starter obtainable.
Whisenhunt told Sirius NFL Radio on Saturday that backup John Skelton, who has started the last 3 games in place of the injured Kolb, “is possibly gonna go tomorrow” against the Rams.
It’s been believed all week that Kolb would be a game-time selection for the Cardinals soon after he took portion in a limited portion of practice all 3 days this week. Whisenhunt confirmed as a lot, saying Kolb would test his injured correct foot on the turf at the Edward Jones Dome ahead of the game. But he doesn’t sound optimistic.
