The NFL and Nike on Tuesday rolled out new uniforms for all 32 teams at a gala celebration in Brookyn, N.Y.
NFL Network’s Michelle Beisner was on hand as stars from around the league modeled the new duds, kept (mostly) beneath lock and crucial in the weeks major up Tuesday’s launch.
For those concerned about drastic changes, worry not. Beisner confirmed the majority of uniforms received tweaks to fabric and composition, but Nike managed to have a small enjoyable with the Seahawks. Seattle’s uniforms received the most drastic makeover of all, with a revamped helmet logo and revised color and design schemes for the team’s property and away jerseys.
In common, the Nike uniforms boast a tighter match, with updated — in some circumstances more vibrant — color shadings and visible sew lines.
Count Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who wore Nike at Virginia Tech, among those in favor of the new appear.
“It’s amazing. It’s a excellent chance for Nike and it’s a wonderful chance for the NFL,” Vick told NFL Network. “We’ll really feel very good and we’ll play great, and I’m really excited for the Nike brand.”
A few highlights:
• Panthers jerseys function the words “KEEP POUNDING” on the inside collar, commemorating former Carolina linebacker Sam Mills’ fight with cancer. Mills died in 2005, and used the phrase throughout an emotional speech to the team following a playoff win more than the Cowboys in January 2004.
• Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher believes the tight jerseys will cut down holding and lead to greatness for Chicago’s Julius Peppers. Urlacher told NFL Network the defensive end is set for sacks” thanks to the new form-fitting jerseys.
• Opponents weren’t excited about facing Ndamukong Suh just before, but has Detroit’s defensive behemoth ever looked more menacing?
More to come all through the day as we collect photographs and video of Tuesday’s launch.

Chargers roll on depressing night in Jacksonville
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on December 5, 2011, 11:48 PM EST
The nicest moment on a depressing night for Jaguars fans in Jacksonville came when they showed owner Wayne Weaver on the Jumbotron.
The fans stood as one and applauded Weaver for bringing pro football to town. This was his national tv send-off, with the sale of the team expected to grow to be official subsequent month.
There weren’t a lot of other reasons to cheer during a 38-14 loss to Chargers. The crowd was somewhat sparse to commence the night, and practically empty by the finish. Here’s what we learned:
1. It’s wonderful how Philip Rivers looks healthy when he has all his weapons and gets a small protection. Rivers threw for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns on only 28 attempts. The old huge play Chargers offense was back. He threw six distinct passes for more than 20 yards.
2. Malcom Floyd was back in the Chargers lineup and produced a enormous difference with 4 catches for 108 yards. It was the very first game considering that Week 1 when Floyd, Vincent Jackson, and Antonio Gates all had been healthful together.
3. The Chargers are nonetheless technically alive in the playoff race at 5-7. Seeing the offense play like this has to be frustrating for Chargers fans. It’s effortless to imagine the Chargers beating Buffalo next week and finding individuals talking about a achievable December run. But the offensive line and defensive problems won’t go away for a month.
The Jaguars just didn’t have the weapons to make San Diego pay on Monday night.
four. You know it’s a poor sign for Blaine Gabbert when Jon Gruden is criticizing him. Gruden stated he requirements to see more from Gabbert or he’d have to strongly contemplate drafting one more quarterback subsequent year. This is a point we’ve been creating lately. The new CBA makes it significantly less complicated to bring in other choices.
Gabbert’s final numbers didn’t look terrible due to the fact of a 48-yard shovel pass to Maurice Jones-Drew, but the rookie’s weaknesses showed up in a scoreless second half against a terrible defense. He still averaged under six yards-per-attempt. There’s zero pocket presence or accuracy. Absolutely nothing goes down the field. It’s not all about the lack of weapons.
five. Possibly the most depressing factor we saw all night: A sign imploring the Jaguars to trade for Tim Tebow. It’s been that type of year for the three-9 Jaguars.

Ray Lewis knows a championship defense when he sees one. Now the Kansas City Chiefs do, too. But he had absolutely nothing but high praise and admiration for him till he threw the late first half pick, as a 14-10 lead turned into a 24-14 halftime nightmare.
Still attempting to figure out why any individual is shocked by Gabbert.
Identical precise guy at Mizzou. Exact same horrific pocket presence.
