A lot of Ravens observers believed the team needed to upgrade their backup quarterback spot from rookie Tyrod Taylor.
They may not have a option soon after Taylor left Thursday’s game in the first quarter with a “shoulder contusion.” Taylor took a big hit and his arm appeared to go limp, but we’ll have to wait for an official diagnosis. Third quarterback Hunter Cantwell will likely have to finish out the game.
If Taylor is questionable for the season opener, the Ravens will have to locate yet another arm following this weekend’s cuts. We half-expected them to make a move already, and now completely anticipate it.
Taylor finishes with 1 touchdown and three interceptions in the preseason.

A tough week for the Buffalo Bills grew worse on Wednesday following an ankle injury to rookie defensive tackle Marcell Dareus.
Dareus was seen in the locker room with crutches and his ankle wrapped heavily, according to the Buffalo News. He reportedly suffered the injury Wednesday.
The Associated Press reports the Bills are awaiting test outcomes to uncover out how serious the injury is.
The No. 3 overall pick has looked as excellent as advertised therefore far, with two sacks in the preseason. Buffalo has a lot of injuries correct now 3 of their beginning linebackers missed practice Wednesday and two of their leading three receivers are hurt.
Losing Dareus for an extended period would be a massive setback for the rebuilt defense.
