David Akers had more important things on his mind than a playoff game, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Sunday. Two days before the Jan. 9 game, doctors told the Eagles kicker that his 6-year-old daughter, Halley, needed to have a malignant cyst in her left ovary removed.
