The arrest rate in the course of the lockout has slowed considerably, but weekends in June occasionally entail pro athletes with little to do obtaining more than a little trouble. It happened on Sunday in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where Eagles linebacker Akeem Jordan was arrested for assault and battery, according to the Everyday News Record.
Per the report, the incident occurred in a parking lot on Evelyn Byrd Avenue in Harrisonburg. Jordan was released with out bail earlier today.
Particulars are sketchy for now. Hopefully, he wasn’t waving a knife just before accidentally throwing it at an individual.
