The Buffalo Bills have decided to stay out west following the beating they took in Week five from the San Francisco 49ers. The Bills defense gave up 1,201 yards and 97 points in the two earlier games they played in. In those identical two games, the Bills had been outscored 97-31 (a 68 point margin). With all of the factors stated above, predicting a Bills win is more or less the same as selecting the winning Mega Millions lottery numbers.

Here’s a quick look at the teams:
Buffalo Bills (2-3)
Offense: 17th, 351. Yards Per Game (YPG)
Rush: 5th, 144.two YPG
Pass: 26th, 206.8 YPG

Defense: 9,999,9999,9999th…seriously, 31st 449.4 YPG (Yes, a group is crappier than the Bills on defense [Saints])
Rush: 30th, 171.eight Miles Per Carry
Pass: 24th, 277.6 YPG

Arizona Cardinals (4-1)
Offense: 31st, 273.two YPG
Rush: 31st 63.3 YPG
Pass: 25th 209.8 YPG

Defense: 11th, 334. YPG
Rush: 14th, 103. YPG
Pass: 234. YPG

If the Bills want to prove to themselves and the rest of the world that they have not quit, then the time is now. Otherwise, we already know the answer to that. Although this is a game the Bills could win, I’m going with the Cardinals, considering how pathetic the Bills have looked the previous two weeks.

Here are the rest of my Week 6 predictions:
Steelers more than the Titans
Falcons more than the Raiders
Ravens over the Cowboys (Sorry Cowgirl, get prepared for a Baltimore Beatdown!)
Bengals over the Browns (Get prepared to commence packing Wilford Brimley)
Rams more than the Dolphins
Colts more than the Jets
Eagles more than the Lions (Who let the dogs out…)
Buccaneers more than the Chiefs
Patriots more than the Seahawks (BAHSTON SOCKS CAWK!!!)
49ers more than the Giants
Vikings more than the Redskins
Texans more than the Packers
Broncos more than the Chargers

It’s time for Week 5 in the NFL. This week, the two-two Buffalo Bills are travelling out west to take on the 3-1 San Francisco 49ers. Let’s take a rapid appear at stats of both teams:
Buffalo Bills:
Total Offense: 11th (Rushing: 4th Passing: 22nd)
Starting Quarterback (QB) Ryan Fitzpatrick: 19th general 931 yards (yds), 12 Touchdowns (TDs) and 7 Interceptions (INTs)
Total Defense: 23rd (Rushing: 28th Passing: 23rd)

San Francisco 49ers:
Total Offense: 19th (Rushing: 3rd Passing: 30th)
Starting QB Alex Smith: 28th general 784 yds, 5 TDs and 1 INT
Total Defense: 5th (Rushing: 5th Passing: 5th)

Without going into long boring details about this matchup, the bottom line is the 49ers are a wonderful rushing team, with Alex Smith being utilised a game manager. The Bills offense is built the very same way as the 49ers, but the primary difference among the two teams is if you can shut down the run, and force the offense to throw, then this heavily favors the 49ers. In two games so far versus AFC East divisional opponents, Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown for 7 TDs as well as 7 INTs. The Bills simply cannot put the game on Fitzpatrick’s shoulders, since if they do (like in the Jets and Patriots games this season), the Bills will get blown out.

My prediction about the Bills winning in San Francisco is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CI1NrcnIH00&ampfeature=fvwrel

For my predictions on the season so far, I am at 37-25 (finished 11-3 last week). Here are the rest of my Week 5 predictions:
Cardinals over the Rams (Cards unbeaten streak continues)
Bengals more than the Dolphins
Packers more than the Colts
Ravens over the Chiefs (Cassell’s days are numbered in KC)
Giants more than the Browns (Could the winner of the 2012 Wilford Brimley look-alike contest [Mike Holmgren] be on his way out of town at the finish of this season?)
Steelers more than Eagles (Vick greater quit blowing his income (blew $ 29 Million in the last 4 years) since if he does nott start off playing far better, he could be out of a job at the finish of the season…and out of income)
Falcons more than the Redskins
Seahawks more than the Panthers
Bears over Jaguars
Vikings more than the Titans
Patriots over the Broncos
Chargers over the Saints
Texans over the Jets (Expect a larger beating than what the 49ers gave them)

It’s time for Week 4 in the NFL. Immediately after a third week of replacement officials, the replacements and the NFL hit an all-time low with the horrific display of officiating in the course of the Monday night football game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks. Since of the heavy backlash from the fans and players, the NFL and the typical referee’s finally settled their differences.

Now, onto the Week 4 matchup in between the Buffalo Bills (2-1) and the New England Patriots (1-2). After a porous outing in Week 1, the Bills have rebounded and won their last two games. On the flip side, the Patriots won their initial game of the season, and have lost their previous two games. The Patriots have not lost 3 games in a row under Bill Belichek and Tom Brady because the 2002 season. Can the Bills be the very first group in almost ten years that provides the Patriots their third loss in a row? Let’s take a appear and see.

The Patriots are currently ranked 9th in overall offense (12th in rushing and 9th in passing), and 24th in overall defense (9th in rush defense, 24th in pass defense). The Bills are currently ranked 11th in general offense (3rd in rushing, 26th in passing), and 19th in general defense (14th in rush defense, and 19th in pass defense).

In a previous article, I discussed how the Bills greatest opportunity of beating the Patriots is in the very first division game they play against them of the year. Beginning from the 2003 season, here are the scores from the 1st division game of the year vs the Patriots: 2003: Bills 31- Patriots , 2004: Patriots 31 – Bills 17, 2005: Patriots 21 – Bills 16, 2006: Patriots 19 – Bills 17, 2007: Patriots 38 – Bills 7, 2008: Patriots 20 – Bills 10, 2009: Patriots 25 – Bills 24, 2010: Patriots 38 – Bills 30, 2011: Bills 34 – Patriots 31. In the course of this time span, the Patriots outscored the Bills 223-186 in the very first division games of the year. With no the two Bills victories (from 2003 and 2011), the Patriots outscored the Bills 192-121.

Now for the scary element, the second division games of the year vs the Patriots: 2003: Patriots 31 – Bills , 2004: Patriots 29 – Bills six, 2005: Patriots 35 – Bills 7, 2006: Patriots 28 – Bills six, 2007: Patriots 56 – Bills ten, 2008: Patriots 13 – Bills , 2009: Patriots 17 – Bills ten, 2010: Patriots 34 – Bills three, 2011: Patriots 49 – Bills 21. In the very same time span as stated above, the Patriots outscored the Bills 292-57 in the second division game of the year. In each and every game considering that 2003, the Patriots have beaten and heavily outscored the Bills much more in the second division game than in the very first.
http://www.realfootball365.com/articles/bills/15076

The positives/benefits for the Bills going into this game are:
The Bills offensive line has not allowed a sack in three games played (I am not counting the ball slipping out of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s hand as a sack).

The Bills offensive line has been very instrumental in producing holes and downfield blocks to support spring their Operating Backs (RBs) for big gains.

The Bills defensive front four has been considerably enhanced against the run so far this season.

The Bills defensive front four have been quite good the final two games at collapsing the pocket, creating pressure and sacks. This is massive contemplating Tom Brady is very very good at stepping up into the pocket when he feels pressure coming from the edges.

RB Fred Jackson most likely will return to play on Sunday.

The Patriots offensive line has gone by means of some alterations in the offseason, and don’t seem to be the identical dominant force that they as soon as had been.

The negatives for the Bills are:

RB CJ Spiller is most probably out for this game due to a shoulder injury, sustained this past Sunday against the Browns.

Even if RB Fred Jackson does play on Sunday, how efficient will he be coming off a knee injury from Week 1?

Wide Receiver (WR) David Nelson is out for the season, so that takes away a huge red zone target for Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The Bills secondary is quite young. Although the secondary has enhanced more than the past two games, they are still very inexperienced and are still getting burned for huge plays. Patriots QB Tom Brady is 1 of the finest in the league at playing the “dink and dunk” game.

If both Spiller and Jackson were one hundred%, and the Bills didn’t manhandled by the Jets in Week 1, I would predict the Bills to win this a single. But, thinking about the injuries to the Bills, and the fact that the Patriots will be playing with a large chip on their shoulders immediately after losing two games in a row, I’m going with my gut feeling and taking the Patriots on this a single.

I went 7-9 in my Week 3 predictions (26-22 for the season). Here are my other Week four predictions:
Ravens over Browns
Falcons over Panthers
Lions over Vikings
Texans over Titans
Chargers over Chiefs
Seahawks over Rams
Cardinals more than Dolphins
Broncos more than Raiders
Bengals more than Jaguars
Packers more than Saints
Redskins more than Buccaneers
Giants more than Eagles
Bears over Cowboys

Right after two weeks of play, the Bills offense ranks at 7th all round (1st in rushing, 28th in passing…OUCH!!), and the defense ranks tied for 25th (24th rush, 23rd pass). The Browns offense ranks 22nd overall (tied for 11th in rushing, and 23rd in passing), and the defense ranks tied for 29th overall (18th rush, and 28th pass). Both the Bills and the Browns have very great offensive lines, and very good running backs (RB’s). Both teams’ defensive coordinators [Dave Wannstedt and Dick Jauron] will have their hands complete on Sunday as they try and slow down their opponents rushing attacks.

This game will be a tough battle, so do not let the Browns -two record fool you. The Browns are a difficult, young team with a lot of talent and upside. The Bills will have to play a really good game to come away with their first road win since opening day in 2011. My prediction for the game: Bills 23, Browns 17.

After going 11-five in my predictions for Week 1, I went 8-8 last week (19-13 overall). Let’s see if I can rebound on my predictions for Week 3:
Panthers over the Giants (Giants have also a lot of injuries)
Rams more than the Bears (Dissention is starting in Chicago)
Bills more than the Browns (Spiller the Thriller continues…)
Cowboys over the Buccaneers (watch out for the kneel downs)
Colts more than Jaguars (Hey Ray Bentley, its JAG-WARS not JAG-WIRES!!)
Jets more than Dolphins
49ers more than the Vikings
Saints more than the Chiefs
Lions more than the Titans
Bengals more than the Redskins (Losing Orakpo &amp Carriker is going to hurt the Redskins D huge time)
Eagles more than Cardinals
Falcons more than the Chargers
Texans more than the Broncos
Steelers more than the Raiders
Ravens more than the Patriots
Packers over the Seahawks

The Bills and Jets open the regular season this Sunday against every other in New Jersey. The Jets at the moment have a 5-game win streak against the Bills. Let’s take a look at some of the matchups we’ll most most likely see on Sunday:

WR Stevie Johnson vs. CB Darrelle Revis:
Steve Johnson averaged more than 70 yards a game last year against Darrell Revis, who is considered the very best CB in the league. But with Johnson being held out of practice this week, and recovering from the effects of groin surgery, will this influence Johnson’s game on Sunday. Also, is Revis amped up for this game, considering the media brought up the question “Does Johnson own Revis Island?”

LT Cordy Glenn vs. LB Calvin Pace:
Bills rookie LT Cordy Glenn will make his NFL debut on Sunday, and will face off against Calvin Pace. Glenn needs to hold his personal to give Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick time in the pocket to throw, plus be ready for all the various blitz schemes that the Jets will throw at him. If Glenn struggles, he’ll have to place a TE or RB to support out Glenn.

DE Mario Williams vs. RT Austin Howard:
The most talked about player on the Bills roster this offseason is Defensive End (DE) Mario Williams. Williams is creating his Bills debut and will be lining up on left finish against former undrafted Free Agent Austin Howard, who was recently named the starting Right Tackle for the Jets. If the Jets do not bring in an additional TE and RB to help slow down Super Mario, then it will be a very long day for Howard.

CB Stephon Gilmore vs. WR Santonio Holmes:
The Bills selected CB Stephon Gilmore in the very first round of the draft this year to aid shore up the Bills secondary. So far, Gilmore has shown a lot of promise in the offseason, but remember people, the regular season is a distinct animal than preseason and education camp. Gilmore will have his hands total against Holmes, as Sanchez and new Jets Offensive Coordinator (OC) Tony Sparano will be targeting the rookie CB early and usually.

DC Dave Wannstedt vs OC Tony Sparano
Each Dave Wannstedt and Tony Sparano are in new positions this year. Wannstedt was promoted from Inside Linebackers (ILB)/Assistant HC to Defensive Coordinator (DC) this offseason right after George Edwards was fired. Tony Sparano was fired as HC of the Miami Dolphins, and replaced Brian Schottenheimer as the Jets OC. Although neither a single have been wonderful HC’s, they have each been really profitable coordinators. The Bills are expected to send a barrage of pressure with their very touted front 4 consisting of Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus and Mark Anderson. Anticipate the Jets to use the wildcat frequently, and a lot of quick screen and sidelines passes to slow down the Bills pass rush.

In the previous, the Jets have been capable to pound the Bills with their run game, and QB Mark Sanchez has had all day extended in the pocket. That appears to be different this year as the Bills created heavy investments to shore up their run defense and specially their abysmal pass rush. My final prediction: Bills 27, Jets 13.

In a nutshell, here is what happened on Sunday. The $ one hundred+ million dollar defensive line had no sacks or pressure on Jets Quarterback (QB) Mark Sanchez. Sanchez had a great day while the Bills got horrendous play at QB from Ryan Fitzpatrick. That is actually pretty much it. Certain, there were plenty of other things that happened in the game, like a long punt return touchdown and Spiller’s fumble. The defensive backs showed a horrifying inability to cover anyone, as properly as being physically manhandled at the line of scrimmage by the Jets Wide Receivers.

Neither QB in this game faced fierce pressure, but was Fitzpatrick poor. Ryan Fitzpatrick was nicknamed “Fitzmagic”, but he looked far more like “Fitzpathetic” on the field on Sunday.

If some Bills fans had been skeptical of whether or not or not Fitzpatrick could take the Bills to the playoffs prior to the season, picture how they’re feeling now. Even the Fitzpatrick supporters have to start questioning the QB’s abilities to play good constant football. There were frequent references to bad decision creating on the telecast following his very first two picks. Even even though Fitz was late getting the ball out to Stevie on the 1st pick, if that ball was thrown far adequate to the outdoors, it really is either incomplete or caught by Johnson. The second interception was thrown behind an open David Nelson. Individuals are not negative choices, these are just undesirable throws by Fitz. The 3rd choose that went for the touchdown, effectively that was indeed a undesirable choice from which you see from the likes of High School QB’s, not beginning NFL QB’s. Fitz was either throwing behind receiver’s, slow to thow the pass or telegraphing his passes.

That’s a lot of poor folks. Needless to say the Bills are going to need considerably greater play from their beginning QB if they’re going to ever beat the Jets.

This is Fitzpatrick’s last possibility in Buffalo. If Fitz is the extended-term answer, then it really is time he starts playing that way on a steady basis. On paper, the Bills have their best roster in years and can no longer wait for Fitzpatrick to play regularly excellent football.

Now that week 1 in the NFL is in the books, it’s time to get ready for week two. As in most circumstances every year, there are some teams that start off off like a cannonball getting shot out of a cannon, then coming crashing quickly back down to earth. On the other hand, there are teams tripped over their shoelaces at the starting line, then quickly catch up to speed. Only time will tell this season who those teams are.

Last week, I went 11-5 in my predictions. Since I didn’t make an official short article, I’ll recap my Week 1 predictions:
Giants over Cowboys
Bears over Colts
Falcons more than Chiefs
Eagles more than Browns
Saints over Redskins
Lions over Rams
Patriots more than Titans
Bills over Jets
Texans over Dolphins
Seahawks over Cardinals
49ers over Packers
Panthers more than Buccaneers
Broncos over Steelers
Ravens over Bengals
Chargers over Raiders

Here are my week 2 predictions:

Packers 31, Bears 27
In a quite close game that could go either way, I really feel the Packers will edge out the Bears. The Bears have improved in the offseason, but we want to see them beat a serious contender 1st, as an alternative of a rebuilding Colts group.

Bills 31, Chiefs 29
One more really close game that could go either way. Final year, the Bills demolished the Chiefs 41-7 in the season opener, but that was final year. Each the Chiefs and the Bills lost convincingly to their week 1 opponents, and appear to redeem themselves in week two.

Saints 38, Panthers 20
Are the Saints a single of the week 1 teams that tripped themselves up at the beginning line? That is extremely attainable. I see the Saints rebounding this week over the Panthers.

Bengals 30, Browns 19
Neither team looked great last week. The Bengals had the daunting process of taking on the defending AFC North division champs, the Ravens on the road in Baltimore, and had been beaten soundly in all 3 phases of the game. The Browns on the other hand were in “the battle of the interceptions” as Browns rookie QB Brandon Weeden and Eagles QB Mike Vick had four interceptions every single. I like the Bengals at property on this 1.

Vikings 27, Colts 23
Each the Colts and Vikings are rebuilding, so this is another game that could go either way.

Texans 31, Jaguars 13
Texans are proving that they are a top rated contender in the AFC, while the Jaguars hired former Bills HC Mike Mularkey, who was lately fired as the Falcons Offensive Coordinator (OC). Texans will prove to be as well much for the Jaguars.

Raiders 20, Dolphins 12
Each the Raiders and Dolphins continue their HC and QB carousel. The Dolphins have lost too considerably in the offseason and appear to have one of the worst records in the NFL this year. Benefit: Raiders.

Patriots 40, Cardinals 13
The Patriots have arguably a single of the greatest offenses in the NFL, which will prove to be also considerably for the Cardinals on Sunday.

Giants 20, Buccaneers 17
The Giants look to rebound following getting beat by division rivals, the Cowboys in the season opener. Can the Bucs take benefit of the injuries to the Giants secondary? In a game that could go either way, I’m hunting for the defending Superbowl champs to rebound this week.

Ravens 41, Eagles ten
Anticipate a Baltimore beat down of epic proportions on Sunday. If Eagles fans had issues about their team going into the season, they ought to be very concerned this Sunday. In a town that booed Santa Claus, expect Eagles fans to be calling for the entire coaching staff and Mike Vick to be fired!!

Cowboys 27, Seahawks 15
Are the Cowboys legit this year? For Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ sake, they far better be as Jones put a lot of resources into the group in the offseason.

Redskins 34, Rams 27
Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (RGIII) showed in week 1 that he was worth the very heavy investment the team place into him in this year’s draft. Are Rams fans going to be second guessing the trade with Redskins for RGIII? If Rams QB Sam Bradford doesn’t turn out to be a probowl player that leads the group to numerous playoff wins, then Rams fans will start their grumbling.

Jets 27, Steelers 23
The important to this game will come down to whoever can get the most pressure on the opposing QB. I like the Jets in a close one particular.

Chargers 20, Titans 18
In a game that could go either way, I see the Chargers squeaking by on this a single.

49ers 31, Lions 20
49ers look to be one of the far more dominating teams in the NFC this year. The 49ers already beat the Lions division rivals the Packers in week 1, and look to do the same against them. I like the 49ers at home.

Falcons 31, Broncos 27
Both the Falcons and Broncos have made important upgrades in the offseason. The Falcons hired Dirk Koetter as their OC, and Mike Nolan as their Defensive Coordinator. The Broncos acquired arguably a single of the very best QB’s in the game this offseason, Peyton Manning. In a game that could go either way, I give the edge to the Falcons, only since of the restricted quantity of time Manning has had so far with the Broncos. If this game took place towards the finish of the season, I would lean a lot more towards the Broncos.

After Sunday’s gut-wrenching loss to the New York Jets, it’s quite tough to try and muster up something good about the Buffalo Bills. Listed below are the grades I’m handing out to the team. We’ll begin off with the offense first.

Offense: D
What stopped the grade from becoming an “F” was Bills Running Back (RB) CJ Spiller’s rushing performance. Spiller ripped off a 56 yarder for a Touchdown (TD) in the second quarter. But, the Bills would not get on the scoreboard again until the score was 41-7 in the third quarter. At that point in the game, New York Jets Head Coach (HC) Rex Ryan had place in most of his backup players in on defense, and eased up on their attack of the Bills offense. By Ryan doing such, the Bills were capable to score 3 TD’s in between the third and fourth quarters. By that time, it was as well small, too late for the Bills as the Jets went on to win 48-28.

RB’s: A+
CJ Spiller had 169 yards (yds) on 14 carries and one rushing TD. Spiller had a 56 yd TD run, a 49 yd run, and nearly broke a few a lot more for massive gains. Overall, the Bills had 195 yds rushing on the day. Currently, Spiller, as nicely as the Bills offense ranks #1 in the NFL in rushing yds.

Wide Receiver’s (WRs): C
When your starting Quarterback (QB) is either telegraphing his passes, throwing behind you or is late with his throws, it is really hard for a WR to make any plays. Bills WR’s Steve Johnson and Donald Jones had combined for 9 receptions (rec), 96 yds and two TD’s. Jones was the best pass defender on the field as he batted down a Ryan Fitzpatrick pass that would have been intercepted by the Jets. Also undesirable Jones couldn’t play each WR and Cornerback (CB).

Tight Ends (TEs): B
Beginning Bills TE Scott Chandler had four rec’s for 38 yds and 1 TD. Chandler played as effectively as you could have expected from him, offered the restricted quantity of throws from Fitzpatrick. Lee Smith had 1 rec for five yds.

QB: F
Regrettably, F is the lowest grade you can give a particular person. If somebody could have the honor bestowed upon them with obtaining a lower grade than F, the honor would belong to Fitzpatrick. Even although Fitzpatrick was late obtaining the ball out to WR Steve Johnson on the initial pick, if that ball was thrown far adequate to the outdoors, it is either incomplete or caught by Johnson. The second interception was thrown behind an open David Nelson. Those were not undesirable choices, those had been just bad throws by Fitzpatrick. The third choose that the Jets returned for a pick six was indeed a negative choice from which you see from the likes of High School QB’s, not starting NFL QB’s. Fitzpatrick was either throwing behind his WR’s, slow to throw the pass or telegraphing his passes.

Offensive Line: A
The Offensive Line gave Fitzpatrick adequate time in the pocket on Sunday to make his throws, and did not allow a sack. Also, the line opened some very good holes for Spiller to blast by means of.

Defense: D-
When it takes virtually to the fourth quarter to force a punt, then you know your group is in trouble. When your offense turns it more than 4 times, it makes everyone’s job on defense that much tougher.

Run Defense: B-
The Bills run defense, specially in years previous against the Jets was putrid. But on Sunday, the Bills run defense held the Jets to 118 rushing yds at three.three yards per carry. While the run defense showed substantial improvements, mainly due to the highly touted defensive front four of Buffalo, they could not hold the Jets in 3rd and brief circumstances.

Pass Rush: F
No sacks on Sanchez, and there had been only a few times exactly where the Bills were capable to chase Sanchez out of the pocket. In week 1, the $ 100+ Million dollar investment to shore up the pass rush did not payoff.

Pass Defense: F
The Bills CB’s and Safeties were either giving the Jets WR’s &amp TE’s a 10-15 yard cushion, or getting physically manhandled at the line of scrimmage. By far, this was the Bills weakest group of the whole team.

Special Teams: D-
Looks like the only ones that showed up for the unit had been Bills kickers, John Potter and Rian Lindell. The unique teams unit gave up a expensive 68 yd punt return for a TD.

Coaching: F
Just like Fitzpatrick, if anyone deserves a lower grade than F, then that honor should be shared with Chan Gailey, Bruce DeHaven and Dave Wannstedt. The Bills looked like they were still in preseason mode. The Bills defense looked quite vanilla, and barely brought any blitzes. Wannstedt did a really poor job of producing adjustments all through the game.

Right here are some post game quotes from Gailey: ‘”We need to tighten up our coverage which will aid our pass rush,” why thank you, Captain Apparent!

“This is a cliché and I understand it. It is a single of sixteen and if you win enough, you get in the playoffs.” I have two difficulties with this quote. Very first off, Gailey has been preaching since day one as Bills HC that he doesn’t hope to win, he expects to win. So, now Gailey has either lowered his expectations, or has been blowing smoke up our collective butts. Second, although Sunday’s game was only one of 16, it was against a division rival [Jets], and the game is only a single of six. Correct now, the Bills are -1 in the AFC East. Last season, the Bills were 1-five in the division. The better your win/loss record is in the division, the greater the chances you’ll have of producing the playoffs.

A single point is for confident, the whole Bills group, each players and coaches want to straighten this ship out quick ahead of there is a mass mutiny amongst the natives [Bills fans].

Oliver has quite a resume as well when it comes to football and academics. According to Andrew Luck Locker, he is from Cleveland exactly where his stellar quarterback play for St. Ignatius High School helped him win a scholarship to West Virginia University.

He did not get significantly playing time his freshman year, but got the starting function the following year. His 1,292 yards and eight touchdowns was a clear sign that he was a top tier quarterback. He had the ability to not only pick defenses apart with his arms but also with his legs. He complied over 400 yards rushing with 5 touchdowns.

Oliver impressed people with his leadership on the field, but he was equally impressive in the classroom as shown by his two Academic All-American honors and being inducted into the Academic All-American Hall of Fame. He graduated magna cum laude with a number of other academic awards and honors.

In his junior year, Oliver’s 19 touchdowns set a new school record for most touchdowns thrown in a season. His senior season he lead his team to a bowl look: the Peach Bowl versus the Florida Gators. The game wasn’t even close. The final score was 26-6. He’d also set school passing records that year with 216 completions for nearly two,500 yards.

Oliver would hang up his cleats with his name on a lot of school records. Some of them would ultimately be surpasses later on, but he nonetheless remains really prominent in the top ten list of numerous school passing records. His performance in college was enough to convince the Houston Oilers to draft him in the second round.

Though his expert career didn’t last extremely extended, he would move on to be productive in varies management positions and would even run whole organizations such as the Globe League of America and the Houston Dynamo.

If you look at Andrew, you can see several similarities to his father. Andrew is a premier student athlete. He was the class valedictorian when graduated from high school and had a excellent GPA. He chose to go to Stanford University due to the fact of the difficult academics. Luck is also a dual threat quarterback. He would break several rushing records as a Stanford Cardinal.

Andrew has stated that even although his dad hasn’t necessarily “coached” him, he was a main influence in his life. Oliver taught Andrew a lot of of the each day life fundamentals that helped him to mature into a respectable young man and excellent football quarterback
